Recruitment
Our recruitment program serves as a primary resource for recruiting caregivers for adult family homes in Washington State.
How It Works
The Long-Term Care Foundation can assist adult family homes with their recruitment efforts. Recruitment and retention of great caregivers is at the core of any successful adult family home. Recruiting in today’s environment can prove difficult, it is imperative that we work together to achieve our common goal. Please read our recruitment process below and submit a pre-recruitment questionnaire prior to requesting recruitment assistance.
The LTFC can help source potential caregivers and provide a brief summary of each caregiver we send. The process is meant to be helpful and add to what your home is already doing to increase recruitment efforts. We will use several different strategies to assist with finding potential caregivers. First, we collect the Pre-Recruitment Questionnaire. The Pre-Recruitment Questionnaire is to be filled out with as much detail as possible as this allows us to perform a quick analysis of your job so we can then create a job posting to attract the best candidates. This will involve reaching out to potential candidates via email, phone, and text. Once we are able to schedule a phone interview, we will ask a series of questions before we send their resume and brief description of their experience.
Once we send resumes to homes, we ask that you please provide feedback promptly as it is vital for our records and reporting. The interview process should be smooth, and all applicants should receive a follow-up within 24 hours.
